A Prayer for Our Law Enforcement Officers — National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day!
Heavenly Father,
Today we lift up the men and women who serve as guardians of our communities. You see what others do; not the long nights, the heavy decisions, the sacrifices made quietly and faithfully.
We ask You to cover them with Your protection. Go before them on every call, stand beside them in moments of uncertainty, and bring them home safely to those who love them. Grant them wisdom beyond their own understanding, discernment in every decision, and strength when the burden feels too heavy to carry.
Lord, guard their hearts and minds. Bring peace where there is stress, healing where there is hurt, and rest where there is weariness. Bless their families with comfort, patience, and reassurance, knowing they too share in this calling of service.
May Your light surround them, Your grace sustain them, and Your presence remind them they are never alone. We thank You for their courage, their commitment, and their willingness to stand in the gap for others.
In Your holy name, Jesus, we pray,
