When Your Body Feels Like The Enemy

    Day 9

“My heart throbs, my strength fails me…”

    —Psalm 38:10

    Narrative:

Depression isn’t just emotional; it’s physical.
    Tight chest.
    Heavy limbs.
    Brain fog.
    Hunger gone.
    Hunger out of control.

Your body feels like it’s betraying you, but really—it’s overwhelmed and screaming for relief.

God created bodies, and He knows exactly how yours is suffering.

    Supporting Scripture: 2 Corinthians 1:8–9; Job 30:17

    Questions:

    1. How is depression showing up physically for you?
    2. What does your body need today?
    3. Where do you feel tension right now?

    Prayer:

Lord, my body is hurting and tired. Be near to my physical pain. Calm my nerves. Give me rest. Amen.
