It’s Tammy Tangent Tuesdays

Hello Beautiful ♥!  It is Tammy Tangent Tuesdays!!!  I know you’ve been looking for an excuse to go out and say hi and hug on those men in uniform!  Well, you know what, ask and you shall receive!  That is exactly what this week’s Tammy Tangent Tuesdays challenge is!  (♥Now you can understand the prior prep weeks ♥)

This week’s challenge:  Drum roll, please…… This week’s Tammy Tangent Tuesdays is to go out into our community and give a great big “Thank You” to all of our local firefighters, our First Responders, by going out to your local fire department and deliver them lots of goodies, along with hugs, praise, cards, and words of encouragement.  Grab your kids or grandkids and share the love!  What a great way to model to our kids by giving back and having fun by baking some goodies or even buying some items at the grocery store and deliver that love and blessings with a smile radiating that Beautiful You!

These brave men and women put their lives on the line each and every day and are committed themselves in giving back to the community.  They are so much more than eye candy in uniform; they have families whom they leave for extended periods of time knowing their lives could be put in danger; they’re also much more active than just fighting occasional fires. They are unsung heroes who are generally always the first to arrive at every emergency scene and assess patient and situational emergence; they provide all medical care, whether it’s spinal and/or bone mobilization, perform CPR or administer external defibrillator treatment, and even administer life-saving epinephrine; not to mention their expertise in extricating human life; fighting fires and locating patients left behind; but they are subjected to unknown and unsafe environmental conditions oftentimes that compromise their health for life! 

I don’t know about you, but the few job duties I just described above have all been administered on me personally by these brave men and women and have even saved my sons’ lives a couple of times.  I think they’re far more deservant of praise and recognition than most even think about, and I am honored and blessed to know a few of them personally!

Grab your kids, grandkids or girlfriends and share the love! What a great way to model to our kids and each other by giving back and having fun by baking some goodies or purchasing something at the grocery store and deliver that love and blessings with a smile radiating that Beautiful You!  Let’s respect and honor those while we can!  ♥♥♥
