Pumpkin Doorbell Ditch
Tammy Tangent Tuesdays
Hello Beautiful! I pray you are having a blessed week so far filled with all the love and beauty you generate just by being Beautiful You!!! ♥♥ It’s that time again, it’s Tammy Tangent Tuesdays!!! Since our fabulous fall is finally upon us, what a better weekly challenge than one whose festive radiance can continue to bless others throughout the Halloween and Thanksgiving holidays!
This Tammy Tangent Tuesdays weekly challenge is twofold: One, never forget there is only one Beautiful You ♥♥ (Boo-tiful You); and two, grab the kids and your precious grandbabies, your amazing group of girlfriends, your small groups or how about your youth groups and have some fun decorating easy, cheap and beautiful pumpkins to reach out and deliver colorful nuggets filled with love and cheer back into our communities. You could knock on a few doors while having fun or ringing the doorbell and running away quickly while leaving this thoughtful and beautiful blessing that will surely bring a smile to even the harshest of critics.
It doesn’t take much, trust me, to bless others with such a sophisticated treat! The ease of placing cloth or glued paper doilies on the tops and bottoms of the pumpkins like the images at the top and the one depicted below is endless (it doesn’t get any easier than that. I demand simplicity ♥♥). Grab some glue, glitter, old buttons, broken jewelry pieces, doilies, material scraps, your old Bedazzler, some marker pens, stickers, old paint that is sitting around, even recycled Christmas bows and ribbon, add in your creative juices while having some fun, and this timeless gift will offer blessings filled with cheer that only being Beautiful You can ignite!
It’s a great way to bring unity back into our communities while focusing our hearts and minds on others through simple, random acts of kindness. It’s easy and fun to do and one that the kids can learn and contribute to loving on others. It makes a great decorative item to give to anyone, even your friends that wear their crowns and prance around like the princesses who love all the bling-bling (like me ♥♥) as a great token and reminder for saying “Just because… Thank You for being Beautiful You.”
Let us not forget this weekly challenge also includes all of the assisted living and convalescent hospitals who would appreciate this decorative blessing, not to mention the need of possibly sharing your time in helping the residents there decorate their very own crafts; but your teachers, pastors, doctor’s office, hospital floors and especially our police and fire departments could use some fresh fall-like decorative items radiating that gracious Beautiful You!
Until next time…
